Steering Stem Head Nut
•
Remove the dummy bolt, and take off the
crate bracket from the steering stem head and
discard them.
A. Dummy Bolt
•
Remove the dummy nut and foam pad from
the steering stem head and discard them. Do
not remove the flat washer under the dummy
nut.

•
Remove the non-permanent locking agent
and clean the steering stem.
•
Install the steering stem head nut on the flat
washer and tighten the nut to the specified
torque.
Torque: 88 N·m (9.0 kgf·m, 65 ft·lb)

Handlebar(s)
One-Piece Type, On Road Models
Master Cylinder Removal
•
Unscrew the flanged bolts to remove both
master cylinders from the crate brackets. Dis-
card the bolts and the brackets.
Handlebar Installation
•
Install the handlebar on the steering stem
head with the mounting nuts (D = 10) (2) and
tighten the nuts to the specified torque.
Torque: 34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 ft·lb)
