• Check the clearance and movement of the jacking beam by sliding it forward and rearward on
the rails. Check all rollers are centered on the rails at all points along the rail's length. Width
adjustment of the jack base may be necessary to ensure the proper operation.
• Connect the pneumatic line following the figure 20 and the instruction on the chapter 7.10.
• Connect the hydraulic hose following the figure 28B.
• Fill the pump reservoir with the oil suggested in the chapter 5.5.

• Without a vehicle loaded, depress the pedal (1/fig.
29B) of the pump to raise the jack at full stroke to
check for the proper operation.
• Check for the first safety operation by lowering the
jack to the first safety position (about 444mm high)
and then raising the jack to clear off the safety and in
the meantime flipping the safety release handle
(2/fig.29B) up off the safety.
• Check for the second safety operation by lowering
the jack to the second safety position (about 351mm
high) and then raising the jack to clear off the safety
and in the meantime flipping the safety release
handle up off the safety.
