Changing Defective Lights

NOTICE
Risk of damage due to moisture. In order to prevent
moisture from penetrating the lamp, ensure that the pane
is seated properly in the housing during installation and
that the screws are tightened.
INFORMATION
Lamp housings or lamps can be ordered from a specialist
dealer.
To change the halogen lamp in the front light, proceed as
follows:
n
Fold the pane forward with slight pressure on the black
locking lever at the lower end of the lamp (see Figure
49, item 1).
n
Replace the defective halogen lamp with a new one.
n
Close the pane.

2 Recess (use the screwdriver at this point)
To change the lamp of the front direction indicator, proceed
as follows:
n
Open the front direction indicator: Insert a narrow
screwdriver into the recess on the direction indicator
housing and tip the pane down (see Figure 49, item 2).
n
Remove the pane.
n
Slightly rotate the lamp to release it from the lock on the
lamp socket and pull it out (see Figure 50).
n
To install the lamp, slide it in and rotate it into the lock.
