Operation
Deactivation via control panel
1. Press the On/Off button to turn on the control unit.
2. Move the joystick to the front end position until you hear
a beep.
3. Move the joystick to the rear end position until you hear
a beep.
4. Release the joystick.
5. The speed level and battery indicator appear on the
LCD monitor, and the control unit is ready for driving.
Now the drive-away lock is deactivated and the wheelchair
can be driven.
If the joystick is not moved correctly, the drive-

away lock remains activated. In order to deactivate the
drive-away lock, the control unit must be switched off. The
power wheelchair can be switched on again and the drive-
away lock can be deactivated.
Deactivation via separate LCD monitor
After switching the power wheelchair on, an information
window appears on the LCD monitor (see Figure 18). The
deactivation process is the same as described under "De-
activation via control panel".

6.3.8 Lighting

The B600 power wheelchair is equipped with lighting as
standard equipment. One halogen light and one direction
indicator is attached to each side panel on the right and left
(see Figure 19).

Two back-up lamps with integrated direction indicator lights
are integrated into the rear covering (see Figure 20). The
control panel is used to turn on the warning flashers, lights,
and right/left direction indicator lights (see Figure 16).
