SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When dishes with alcohol are prepared, the high
•
temperatures can cause the alcohol to evaporate.
The vapour can catch fi re if it comes into contact
with hot parts.
Do not use the appliance to store infl ammable
•
materials or materials which warp quickly.
Ensure that dishes are always heated thoroughly.
•
The time required for this depends on many
factors, including the quantity and type of dish.
Any bacteria in the dishes are destroyed if the dish
is heated at a temperature higher than 70 °C for
more than 10 minutes. Heat the dish longer if you
are not sure whether it has heated thoroughly.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard metal
•
scrapers to clean the glass door. This will create
scratches which may cause the glass to break.
Use oven mitts or oven cloths to remove dishes
•
and accessories from the appliance.
If, for cleaning the oven, operation buttons must
•
be set to a higher setting (pyrolysis) than for
normal purposes, the exterior may become hotter
than usual. For that reason, keep children away
from the appliance.
WARNING: Make sure the appliance is turned off
•
before replacing the bulb, to avoid risk of electric
shock.
WARNING: If the (glass) control panel is cracked,
•
switch off the appliance to reduce the risk of
electric shock.
WARNING: Cooking with fat or oil without
•
supervision can be dangerous and can lead to fi re.
NEVER try to extinguish a fi re with water. Switch
•
off the appliance and keep the door closed.
WARNING: Danger of fi re: do not store objects in
•
the oven.
