7.7 Putting the lifting column into operation
Only authorised personnel may put a lifting column into operation. The safety regulations and
instructions in these assembly instructions must be observed and followed.
Before putting into operation, you must check the lifting column for damage and observe the
instructions for operating the lifting column (see section 7.3). If no damage can be detected, then
the lifting column can be put into operation.
7.7.1 Putting the lifting column into operation with external controller
•
Check that the lifting column is in a safe state.
•
Connect the connection cable for the external control to a suitable control (see controller
assembly instructions).
•
Where applicable, connect another lifting column to the controller.
•
Connect the hand switch to the controller (see controller assembly instructions).
•
Plug the mains lead of the controller into the mains socket (see controller assembly
instructions).
•
Set the sequence of the lifting column (see controller assembly instructions).
•
Carry out an initializing run (see controller assembly instructions).
•
Note when raising and lowering the lifting column that this operates the limit switches and at
the same time switches the lifting movement off in the top and bottom end positions.
