Vorsicht - Stroboskopischer Effekt des
drehenden Instruments
Bei Verwendung von LED-Behandlungslampen
kann beim drehenden Instrument bei einer
bestimmten Drehzahl ein stroboskopischer
Effekt auftreten. Es scheint so als ob das Instru-
ment still steht oder sich nur langsam dreht,
doch dabei handelt es sich um eine optische
Täuschung. Um Verletzungen vorzubeugen
unbedingt die Drehzahl des Instruments
minimal ändern und wie gewohnt weiterar-
beiten, sobald es den Anscheinhat, dass das
Instrument stillsteht oder sich nur langsam
dreht !
Inbetriebnahme:
Entnehmen Sie das Handstück aus der Instrumentenabla-
geposition.
Die Turbine wird durch setzen des Fußes in den Fußein-
stieg des Fußanlassers aktiviert (siehe Seite 26).
Turbine dreht mit der über das Bedientableau voreinge-
stelle Geschwindigkeit.
Durch mehrfaches Betätigen
die Drehzahl/Leistung des entnommenen Instruments
ändern.
Der eingestellte Leistung wird über LED-Leiste angezeigt.
(es leuchtet nicht für jede Geschwindigkeitstufe eine LED
auf, sondern aller paar Schritte eine weitere LED)

Leistung/Geschwindigkeit verringern:
per Fußanlasser:
• linken Taster mehrfach kurz drücken
über Arzttableau
• Minus-Taste mehrfach kurz drücken
Leistung/Geschwindigkeit erhöhen:
per Fußanlasser:
• rechten Taster mehrfach kurz drücken
über Arzttableau
• Plus-Taste drücken mehrfach kurz drücken
Durch langes Drücken der Taste (Arzttableau oder
Fußkontroller) lässt sich die Geschwindigkeit in größeren
Stufen ändern.

CAUTION - stroboscopic effect of rotating
instruments -
When using a LED lamp, an optical illusion may
occur, when instruments are rotating at a certain
speed. It looks like the rotating instrument
remains still or only rotates very slowly. Be
careful, this is only an optical illusion. To avoid
injuries, change the speed of the instrument by
a minimal and continue to work, as soon as the
instruments looks like it is standing still or
rotates only slowly !
Startup:
Take the handpiece from its holder.
The turbine will be activated by putting the foot in the foot
opening of the foot control (see page 26).
The turbine rotates with the speed, which was preset by the
Keys of the dentist keyboard.
The speed/power of the taken instrument can be adjusted
via the keys or at the dentist keyboard.
The adjusted power is indicated by a LED panel.
(an LED does not light up for each speed level, but an addi-
tional LED lights up every few steps)

Reduce the power/speed:
via foot controller
• press and keep the left button
via dentist keyboard
• press the minus key shortly and repeatedly
Increase the power/speed:
via foot controller
• press right button shortly and repeatedly
via dentist keyboard
• press the plus key shortly and repeatedly
By pressing and keep the button (dentist panel or
foot controller) you can change the speed in larger steps.
