5
• proper operation is ensured.
• the building is ready for occupancy.
• all protective materials are removed.
Commissioning the ventilation system
1. Check the installation before switching on.
2. Ensure that all ventilation units, room air con-
trols and system components are correctly in-
stalled and connected in accordance with the
wiring diagram in the appendix. All covers and
protective devices must be in place.
3. Switch the mains fuse on. The ventilation units
start up in ventilation level 2 and heat recov-
ery operating mode.
4. Call up the service menu [} 76] or commission-
ing software.
5. If necessary, activate the connected compon-
ents in the service menu of the master RLS
45 K: Ventilation units, power units, sensors,
EnOcean wireless module or additional com-
ponents at the 230 V input, etc.
6. Activate the components connected to the
slave RLS 45 K.
7. With an even number of units on the master
RLS 45 K , call up the Automatic search
(Plug & Play) parameter. The function en-
sures automatic pairing of the ventilation units.
The units no longer need to be activated and
addressed manually.
8. If there is an odd number of devices , use
the commissioning software [} 80] to enter
the device addresses of the individual ventila-
tion units and determine ventilation unit pairs.
9. After completing the parameterisation, carry
out a function test:
• Test operation and operating modes.
• Test ventilation levels and off-function.
• For the radio-controlled units, test the
EnOcean functions.
• Test the LEDs on the room air controls.
