15 MOUNTING, CONNECTIONS
The volumetric flow compensation is set at a total
of 60 m³/h for exhaust air units and 45 m³/h for
balanced PPB 30 units.
For correct operation, the correct number
of units must be stored in the service menu.
Only use exhaust air units with an exhaust air
volumetric flow of 60 m³/h, e.g. ER or ECA 100
pro. When an exhaust air fan starts up, the Push-
Pull units go into supply air mode to compensate
for the negative pressure produced.
Once the set run-on time has elapsed, the ventila-
tion units switch back to the previously selected
ventilation level.
Sensor-controlled exhaust air units with automatic
start-up are not recognised by the RLS 45 K.
15.9.5 Setting up additional function
The additional components are connected to
the separate 230 V input of the RLS 45 K
DANGER of electric shock if incorrectly
connected to the 230 V input of the control
unit.
Ensure a phase balance between all components
connected to the ventilation system.
1. Switch off the mains fuse and secure it against
being switched on again.
2. Electrically wire additional components (but-
tons, switches, timers, exhaust air fans, etc.)
to the 230 V input of the RLS 45 K with the
additional components, see connection and
wiring diagrams [} 154] in the appendix.
3. Insert RLS 45 K into the flush-mounted box
and screw down to flush-mounted box with 4
screws.
4. Attach the outer frame. Make sure it locks into
position. With the HYI sensor installed, ensure
that the sensor opening (hole) is positioned
above the sensor.
74
5. Switch on ventilation system with the mains
fuse.
6. Activate the 230 VAC input in the service
menu of the RLS 45 K.
7. Use the commissioning software to select the
setting parameter RLS 45 K function 230
VAC input and the desired additional function
under Installer level/Basic settings.
8. To set a supply air run-on time, select the
Supply air function run-on time parameter
and set the run-on time to 0, 6 or 15 minutes.
Available settings depend on the number of
connected units.
9. Carry out a function test with the set values.
