8. Inspection, maintenance and
service
The RMQ unit incorporates components which re-
quire inspection, maintenance and service.
In the user's own interest, the time intervals stated in
the following table should be observed and the rec-
ommended actions should be carried out.
Before starting work on the unit, the electricity supply must be switched off or the plug must be pulled
out. It must be ensured that the electricity supply cannot be accidentally switched on.
Component
Check that the cabinet is clean
and properly fastened to the wall.
Cleaning: Remove impurities
from the outside of the cabinet us-

Note: Liquid must not penetrate
into the plug, the contact or be-
hind the control panel.
Check that the valve opens and
Float valve closes (seals) correctly and that
the float can move freely.
Check that the unit operates satis-

Check
• whether the pump delivers the
right pressure,
• whether the pump is tight,
• whether the system is noisy,

• whether the unit functions as
intended.
This is checked by briefly opening
the points of consumption, e.g.
water closet, tap.
Seal, mains water Check whether the seal is tight.
Check whether the sensor has
been installed correctly and oper-
ates satisfactorily.
Level sensor
Check that the cable is not
sharply bent, scratched or shows
any signs of ageing.
* The time intervals in the columns "Years" and "Months" mean:
Example: 1 = once a year or 6 = every six months.
