8. Inspection, maintenance and
service
The RMQ unit incorporates components which re-
quire inspection, maintenance and service.
In the user's own interest, the time intervals stated in
the following table should be observed and the rec-
ommended actions should be carried out.
Before starting work on the unit, the electricity supply must be switched off or the plug must be pulled
out. It must be ensured that the electricity supply cannot be accidentally switched on.

Check that the cabinet is clean
and properly fastened to the wall.

Check that the valve opens and

• whether the pump delivers the
right pressure,
• whether the pump is tight,
• whether the system is noisy,

This is checked by briefly opening
the points of consumption, e.g.
water closet, tap.

Check whether the sensor has
been installed correctly and oper-
ates satisfactorily.

Check that the cable is not
sharply bent, scratched or shows
any signs of ageing.
* The time intervals in the columns "Years" and "Months" mean:
Example: 1 = once a year or 6 = every six months.
