Before beginning installation procedures,
these installation and operating instruc-
tions should be studied carefully. The in-
stallation and operation should also be in
accordance with local regulations and ac-
cepted codes of good practice.
1. Delivery
The following has been supplied:
• RMQ rainwater unit,
• wall mounting bracket with screws and rawlplugs,
• level sensor including 20 metres of cable,
• fittings for pipe connection,
• installation and operating instructions.
Check that all components are OK.
2. General description

The RMQ rainwater unit is designed for the monitor-
ing and control of rainwater collection and utilisation

systems. The unit detects faults in the rainwater col-

lection system and makes the necessary adjust-

ments to ensure that the system is operating.

When insufficient rainwater is available from the col-

lecting tank (e.g. underground tank), the RMQ unit

switches to mains water supply, thus providing suffi-
124
cient water at the points of consumption, e.g. water
124
closet, tap. The connection between the integral

mains water tank and the suction pipe from the col-
125
lecting tank is closed by means of the built-in three-
way-valve.

• as domestic waterworks for the utilisation of rain-

• for operation in residential and commercial areas

as well as for small enterprises.
