3. Connect the mains water pipe to the mains water
inlet (¾") of the unit.
4. Fasten the mains water pipe by means of pipe
clamps. The first pipe clamp must be fitted
10-15 cm from the unit.
5. Check that the float valve is positioned correctly
in the mains water tank, see fig. 8.
6. The float in the float valve must hang vertically in
the mains water tank.
- It must be possible to move the float vertically
up and down.

5.4 Connection of suction pipe
(collecting tank)
When mounting the suction pipe, impurities may get
into the pipe. If this cannot be avoided, the suction
pipe must be flushed through with clean water before
it is connected to the unit.
Due to friction loss in the suction pipe, a pipe of at
least 1" (minimum 25 mm internal diameter) must be
used, e.g. a PE pipe.
• The suction pipe must slope upwards towards the
unit.
• The suction pipe must run directly and must be
connected to the counter part (1 RG) of the union.

Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the suction pipe to the union, see fig. 9.
- As the union is sealed by means of an O-ring, it
should not be tightened too much.
- Tighten the union to maximum 2-3 Nm.

2. Fasten the suction pipe by means of pipe clamps.
The first pipe clamp must be fitted 10-15 cm from
the unit.

5.5 Connection of discharge pipe

Install an isolating valve in the fixed installation.
This offers the possibility of
• shutting off the mains water supply,
• correcting functional faults without problems,
• carrying out repairs,
• closing the inlet during periods of long absence.
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the isolating valve to the counter part
(G 1) of the union.
2. Connect the discharge pipe of the unit to the wa-
ter installation, e.g. water closet, tap.
3. Fasten the discharge pipe by means of pipe
clamps. The first pipe clamp must be fitted
10-15 cm from the unit.
