4. Fasten the wall bracket using the screws and
washers supplied.
- Check that the wall bracket is level and horizon-
tal in order to prevent functional faults.
- Ensure that the wall bracket is firmly fastened in
order to prevent consequential damage.
5. Mount the RMQ unit on the bracket, see fig. 3.
- Ensure that the unit engages properly with the
bracket.

5.2 Connection to overflow

If the RMQ unit is installed below sewer level*, the
overflow must be connected to a lifting station which
pumps the water above sewer level and into the sew-
age system.
*) Sewer level is the level to which sewage water
can flow back in case the sewage system is over-
loaded. This level usually corresponds to street
level. Contact the local building authorities for fur-
ther details.

Proceed as follows:
1. Remove the front part of the cabinet by pulling it
out horizontally, see fig. 5.
2. Connect the socket of a DN 70 pipe (at least
50 cm long) to the overflow pipe of the unit, see
fig. 4.
- Note: Do not install a water seal trap or reduce
the pipe diameter. If so, water will remain in the
overflow pipe.
3. Check that the DN 70 pipe has a vertical fall of
50 cm before a bend (if required) is fitted. Con-
nect the overflow pipe to the sewage system or
the lifting station.

5.3 Connection of mains water pipe

The built-in float valve is designed for a maximum
pressure of 4.0 bar.
If the pressure in the mains water pipe is 4.0 bar or
higher, it is necessary to install a pressure reducing
valve. Higher pressures in the mains water pipe may
result in faults in the system, e.g. emergency over-
flow.
Install an isolating valve in the fixed installation.
This offers the possibility of
• shutting off the mains water supply,
• correcting functional faults without problems,
• carrying out repairs,
• closing the inlet during periods of long absence.
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the isolating valve to the counter part
(G 1) of the union.
2. Remove the cover from the mains water tank, see
fig. 6.
