9.6 Inserting and removing the filters
• Now turn the assembled appliance again
with the glass ceramic surface facing upwards.
Removing the cover flap for de/installation
of the active charcoal filter
The 2-piece active charcoal filter and the cover plate
above it are pre-installed for exhaust air operation.
To remove, change or reinstall the active charcoal filter
for recirculated air operation, the cover plate must be
removed.
To do this, proceed as follows:
• Reach into the opening in the cooking surface
and fold the cover flap inside into a vertical
position (1).
• Then remove it by pulling it
upwards in this position (2).
