Recommendations for Use, Guidelines and Tips
• Thaw frozen food at room temperature or in the refrigerator
before cooking.
• To shorten the cooking time, reduce the amount of liquid and fat.
For example, 1-2 cm of water is sufficient to steam potatoes,
eggs or vegetables when using a lid.
• If possible, pre-cook cereal products by heating them with the
cooking water rather than adding them after it has reached boil-
ing temperature.
This shortens the cooking time and reduces energy consumption.
• Start cooking with a high power setting, turn it down as soon as
the food is heated and turn the cooking zone off 5-10 minutes
before the end of the cooking time to use the residual heat
and save energy.
• To heat several dishes in succession, use the same cooking
zone(s) to make use of the residual heat.
To do this, look for the residual heat display of the cooking
zones.
• When you are no longer using a cooking zone,
always switch it off immediately.
• To avoid increased energy consumption due to soiled cooking
zones and cooking utensils, always keep them clean.
