5.6 Using the Timer
Cooking zones for which the timer has been set
switch off automatically after the correspondingly set time
has elapsed.
The timer can be activated for one or more cooking zones.
Proceed as follows (for each cooking zone, if applicable)
for setting:
• Touch a slider control of the cooking zone,
for which you want to activate the timer, to select it
and set the desired power level, if not already done.
• Use the corresponding timer
to set the desired time in minutes.

• Briefly touching the keys will change the time
setting in 1-minute increments, long touches
in 10-minute increments.
• The maximum timer time that can be set
corresponds to the respective max. operating
time according to the current power setting
of the cooking zone, see relevant table at "Fea-
tures and ...characteristics".
• If, after setting the max. possible timer time,
the power level is increased to such an extent
that its max. operating time is reduced accordingly,
the timer setting is also adjusted automatically.
