Glass ceramic is more abrasion
resistant than steel. Abrasion marks
caused by this do not represent
damage and can be removed with an
appropriate cleaning agent as a rule.
Use cookware with a clean, even
and smooth bottom (see "Suitable
cookware and its use").
Only use cleaning agents and uten-
sils suitable for glass surfaces (see
cleaning chapter).
If possible, avoid using tall cooking
vessels or place a lid at an angle.
Close doors and windows.
Always ensure a sufficient supply of
fresh air (Refer to the sections on ex-
haust air operation under "Operating
principle ..." and "Mounting ...")..
Clean the metal grease filter or / and
change the active charcoal filter
for recirculation operation.
Check the exhaust air line for block-
ages and remove foreign objects
if necessary.
Observe the notes on the exhaust air
duct in the installation chapter.
