7.3 Cleaning the inside of the appliance
If necessary, clean the inside of the appliance
after removing the filter/s, as follows:
• If objects have entered the appliance, remove them
and ensure that the supply to the overflow container is not blocked.
• Wipe out the inside of the appliance with soapy water
and a dish cloth.
Emptying the overflow container
Liquids or small objects that enter the appliance from above
are collected in the overflow container, which is sealed
with a rubber plug at each of the two drain openings.
To empty, proceed as follows for each drain opening:
• Hold a collection bin under the still closed drain opening
with one hand and then pull out the rubber plug with the other hand.
• Drain the liquids and / or objects collected in the overflow container
completely
and ensure that the supply to the overflow container is not blocked.
