6. Recommendations for Use, Guidelines and Tips
WARNING!
Danger to life!
If the extractor fan is operated with room air-dependent
fireplaces or appliances at the same time,
insufficient supply air can cause negative pressure,
which draws smoke and toxic combustion gases back
into the living spaces.
In exhaust air operation, always ensure sufficient supply air
and follow the installation instructions!
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
Especially oils, fats, alcohol or food containing them heat up
quickly and can easily self-ignite at very high temperatures!
Food can burn, cause harmful smoke or catch fire!
Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use!
To avoid fire hazards, make sure that the food
does not boil over!
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
The hob including the extractor fan, cooking utensils, food to
be cooked and metallic objects on the cooking surface become
very hot during operation and also for some time afterwards
and can cause burns!
Exercise appropriate caution using the appliance
and protect yourself if necessary, e.g. with oven mitts!
Be aware that heated liquids can splash!
Do not use the hob as a storage surface!
Always keep children and pets at a safe distance
during use!
Do not pour any liquids onto the heated cooking surface!
This produces steam and splashing liquid
which can lead to scalding!
The temperature change can also cause damage to the hob!
