9.2 Installation preparation and instructions
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Some components of the unit can be sharp-edged!
Protect yourself from injury during installation,
e.g. by wearing work gloves!
Notes before mounting and installation
• Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Notes before use"
before installing the hob
• Clean the appliance and the area around the installation position.
• Have the following ready for the fitting of the hob:
• Hob and accessories supplied,
including this manual
• Embroidery saw or similar
• Measuring tool and spirit level or similar
• Screwdriver
• Pencil or similar for markings
• Protective gloves or similar.
• Note that at least 2 people are required
to install the appliance.
• Use only the fixing screws supplied with the product
for installation, or those of the same type,
especially of the correct length,
as specified in the installation instructions.
• If there are drawers or similar in the kitchen furniture
intended for installation, remove them to meet
the space requirements.
