• To avoid damaging the cooking surface, take care
not to touch it with jewellery, pointed or sharp-edged
objects or cooking utensils and only use cookware
with a clean, smooth base!
Lift the cookware to move it to avoid scratches or
abrasion marks!
• Do not heat the cookware without any contents
and make sure that it does not boil empty!
The bottom of the cookware may be deformed
and the hob surface may be damaged by the heat
transfer!
• Do not use the appliance as a storage, shelving
or work surface! Do not place heavy objects on it
and be careful not to drop anything on it!
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the appliance, as this may damage the surfac-
es, especially in the area of the control panel!
Follow the instructions for cleaning and mainte-
nance in the relevant chapter!
• Keep magnetisable objects (e.g. credit cards, memo-
ry cards) or electronic devices (e.g. computers,
MP3 players) away from the hob as they could be
affected by the electromagnetic field of the appli-
ance!
