7. Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
Grease deposits can ignite when exposed to heat!
Clean the grease filter of the extractor fan in particular regularly
and make sure that it is always inserted during operation!
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Contact of moisture with live components
can cause an electric shock and/or short circuit!
Do not use high-pressure or steam jet cleaners!
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
Contact with hot surfaces or steam can cause burns or damage!
Always switch off the hob before cleaning, protect yourself
accordingly, e.g. with oven gloves, and allow the appliance to cool
down to a safe temperature before touching it, moistening the
cooking surface or using non-heat-resistant utensils!
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage!
Do not use any aggressive or acidic cleaning agents, scouring
agents or abrasive, sharp or pointed utensils for cleaning the cook-
ing surface, except for hob scrapers intended for this purpose!
These can damage the appliance's surfaces and the control panel!
Before use, check the manufacturer's instructions of your
cleaning agents and utensils for appropriate suitability!
Do not pour cold liquids onto the hot hob!
The resulting temperature shock can cause damage.
Cleaning residues can damage the appliance's surfaces!
Always remove them immediately and completely.
