Taking out the components for cleaning
The following overview shows the components of the extractor fan
that must be taken out for cleaning or replacement:

To take out the filters, proceed as follows:
• Lift off the extractor grille (1).
• Take out the metal grease filter (2).
Be aware that the filter unit may be wetted with a film
of grease and hold it in such a way that it cannot slip
away and damage the hob if it falls.
Also make sure to keep the filter horizontal
to avoid grease that may have accumulated
at its bottom from dripping out.
• If present for recirculation operation,
remove the two parts of the active charcoal filter
from the left side of the opening (3).
