Recirculation operation
In the recirculation version, the air drawn in is cleaned of grease
and fumes by the metal grease filter and returned to the room.
The connection to an exhaust air duct is not required
during installation.
To remove odours from the pre-filtered air, the supplied
active charcoal filter must be installed (see relevant section
of the installation instructions).

The charcoal filter removes odour particles produced
during cooking from the air already pre-filtered by the
grease filter.
For optimum odour absorption, follow the
recommendations for use of the extractor fan.
The air flow rate may be reduced and the noise level in-
creased when operating with an additional charcoal filter.
If the extractor fan is used in recirculation mode,
the amount of room air remains unchanged
and there is no negative pressure in the room.
Simultaneous operation of a room-air dependent fireplace or
appliances is harmless.
