7. Technical specifications, certification
Safety helmet CA-40* has been assessed and found to be in accordance
with the essential health and safety requirements of Regulation (EU)
2016/425 of the European Parliament and the Council on personal protec-
tive equipment. It's furthermore approved in compliance with the European
standard EN 12941 for the use with powered air-purifying respirators Clea-
nAIR and EN 14594 for the use with continuous flow compressed air line
®
breathing apparatuses. Safety helmet CA-40* complies with EN 397 as a
hard hat and offers additional eye and face protection depending on the
mounted shields. All parts of the system must be approved by the manufac-
turer and used in compliance with the instructions stated herein.

7.2. Head protection
The helmet shell is made of high-quality plastic (PA). The acceptable
head circumference is 55 – 63 cm. A month and year of manufacturing
are marked on the front part of the helmet. The helmet shell is resistant to
splashes of molten metal (EN 397 MM).
7.3 Eye and face protection
Selection and field of use: Each item for the protection of eyes and face is
indicated in compliance with the below table for identification of its area of
use and effectiveness according to requirements of EN 166.

1. Въведение
1.1 Защитни каски CA-40, CA-40G и CA-40GW
Те са проектирани изключително за използване с дихателни апара-
ти с механично пречистване на въздуха (наричани по-долу PAPR)
CleanAIR или с дихателни апарати с постоянен поток от линия
®
за сгъстен въздух (наричани по-долу „системи за сгъстен въздух
CleanAIR "), за да осигурят защита на дихателните пътища.

CleanAIR е система за лична защита на дихателните пътища, бази-
®
рана на принципа на свръхналягане на филтрирания въздух в зона-
та на дишане. Респираторът се поставя на колана на потребителя и
филтрира въздуха, който се поема от околната среда, след което го
доставя през дихателна тръба в защитна маска или качулка. Свръх-
налягането предотвратява навлизането на замърсители в дихателна-
та зона. Това леко свръхналягане в същото време осигурява комфорт
на потребителя, дори при продължителна употреба, тъй като не тряб-
ва да се бори при дишането си, за да преодолее съпротивлението на
филтъра. Най-подходящата комбинация на челната част с PAPR се
определя според вида и концентрацията на замърсители в работната
среда и според извършваната работа. Цялата серия CA-40* позволя-
ва да се избере подходяща защита за повечето индустриални прило-
жения, където се изисква добра защита на очите, слуха и главата в
допълнение към необходимата защита на дихателните пътища.
