• Always direct the blowing debris away from people, animals, glass, and solid objects such as
trees, automobiles, walls, etc. The force of air can cause rocks, dirt, or sticks to be thrown or
to ricochet which can hurt people or animals, break glass, or cause other damage.
• Do not blow against the wind or into a burning fire.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE VACUUM
• Do not use the machine to pick up humid or hard material such as: water, liquids, pieces of glass,
iron, stones, cones, nuts or tin cans, this could be very dangerous for you and the machine.
• Do not use the machine to pick up hot embers or material which is burning, smoking or
smoldering. Do not use the machine to pick up lit cigarettes. Do not use the machine to pick
up material which has been contaminated by flammable or explosive materials. Do not suck
in highly flammable fumes. Always check that the material picked up by your machine is not
flammable, toxic or explosive.
• Do not use the vacuum mode without the dust bag in place.
• Always keep the area to be cleaned free from wires, stones, debris, tin cans and other obstacles.
• Do not manually insert objects into the machine.
• Keep bystanders and animals at least 5 m away from the working area.
• If a foreign body, or other debris, is accidentally feed into the machine, stop it immediately
and do not use the machine until it has been checked and you are sure that the entire
machine is in a safe operating condition.
PREPARATION
• Examine the machine ensure it is in good condition, check all the screws, nuts and other
fasteners are properly secured and the screen is in place. Replace unreadable labels.
• Keep all guards and deflectors in place and in good working condition.
• Remove accumulated debris from muffler area and cylinder area. Inspect the muffler for
cracks, corrosion, or other damage.
• Check the machine before an each use to determine whether the working tools are not
worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Do not work with damaged, incomplete device, or device adjusted without the consent of
the manufacturer. Never use the device with defective protective equipment. Before use,
check device condition, particularly power connections, switches and protective covers.

WORK AREA

• Do not operate in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases, or dust. Product create sparks which may ignite the dust or fume.
• Check the terrain where you are going to use the machine, and remove any objects that
could be caught, tangled, or discarded (stones, shards of glass, nails, wires, toys, sticks, etc.).
Only operate the machine on a safe surface and only in good light!
• Never use the machine during rain and storms, especially if there is a risk of lightning strikes.
• Never use the machine on a slippery surface.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating the machine. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
• While working, make sure that you stand firmly. Be particularly careful when working on
sloping terrain.
