7.3.1 Mechanical seat tilt

WARNING
Risk of crushing or pinching in the seat adjustment and
lifting areas. Due to the design, areas which can cause
pinching or crushing injuries when the seat tilt adjustment
is activated are found in the area between the seat frame
and the wheelchair frame. This must be explained to all
attendants. In order to prevent injuries, ensure that body
parts such as hands and feet are always kept out of the
danger zone, that no interfering objects such as clothing or
obstacles are in the danger zone and that no unauthorised
persons are present.
A mechanical seat tilt adjustment powered by a gas com-
pression spring is also available for the Skippi. This seat tilt
adjustment is operated with a release lever at the push
handles. Angle adjustment here also ranges from 0° to 25°.

7.3.2 Mechanically elevating footrest

The Skippi power wheelchair can be equipped with me-
chanically elevating footrests.
Proceed as follows to elevate the footrests:
1. Release the clamping lever (see arrow).

2. Select the desired position using the hole positions.
3. Engage the clamping lever.

Control panel holder

7.4.1 Swing-away control panel holder with removable
control panel
The removable control panel can be pulled up and removed
from the control panel holder.
To allow the user to drive the power wheelchair closer to an
object or under the edge of a table, the control panel can be
folded aside with a special control panel holder:
1. Apply slight sideways pressure to the control panel
holder to release the pivot element.
