The power wheelchair can be equipped with an optional
electric seat tilt function. It allows the seat to be tilted by up
to 25° (20° when combined with seat height adjustment)
from the horizontal, e.g. for pressure relief.
The seat can be tilted back continuously. A centre of gravity
adjustment integrated in the power wheelchair improves
stability.
The function is activated with the joystick in Additional func-
tions / Seat functions mode (see chapter 6.3.5 and 7.1.1).

Risk of falling due to incorrect use of back angle adjust-
ment
„ Drive in street traffic only with a vertical backrest.
„ When driving with the back angle adjustment activated,
fasten the belts (lap belt, four-point belt) and do not
lean out beyond the seat surface with the seat raised.

The backrest can be equipped with an optional electric back
angle adjustment feature (see Fig. 40). In the sitting position,
the backrest can be tilted back continuously by up to 25°.
The function is activated with the joystick in Additional func-
tions / Seat functions mode (see chapter 6.3.5 and 7.1.1).
