3.6.9 Connection adapter for CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo
and DHK/UI
The adapter nuts (M12x1.5 and M14x1.5) included
in the scope of delivery and the connection adapter
(Fig. 9, item 2) are required for the high-pressure
connection for CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo and DHK/UI
with M12x1.5 or M14x1.5 threaded connection. The
connection adapter with the appropriate adapter nut is
connected between the CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo or DHK/UI
and the high-pressure hose.

Always connect the high-pressure hose (Fig. 9,
item 1) to the CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo or DHK/UI by way
of the connection adapter. Never connect the high-
pressure hose directly to the CRI/CRIN, CRI Piezo or
DHK/UI. Always make sure the connection adapter is
clean.
If the connection adapter is leaking, the two O-rings
and the support rings in the connection adapter
must be replaced (order number for spare parts set:
1 680 210 150).

1. Screw the adapter nut M14x1.5 (Fig. 10, item 1)
onto the connection piece (Fig. 10, item 2) until it
is approx. 1.5 mm in front of the union nut (Fig. 10,
item 3).

2. Hold the adapter nut in position with a wrench
(Fig. 11, item 1).
3. Use a wrench to turn the union nut (Fig. 11, item 2)
counter-clockwise as far as the end of the thread.
4. Remove the adapter nut and union nut.
5. Twist and pull the connection piece out of the body.
