4. Commissioning
4.1

Transportation and installation

When transporting the EPS 205 it should be
remembered that its center of gravity is not in the
center.
1. Remove the packaging material, accessories box and
oil collecting trough from the transport crate.
2. Remove the front wall of the transport crate.

Using both hands and a powerful, sudden pull,
remove the packaging material located behind the
front wall of the crate and in front of the EPS 205.
3. Place the oil collecting trough on the work table
provided.

There must be room for a vessel on the workbench
(on the left next to the EPS 205). When flushing
DHK/UI, rotate the flushing drain (Fig. 3, item 6)
downwards to stop the contaminated diesel/oil
mixture running into the test oil tank of the EPS 205.

4. Use a fork-lift truck to carefully lift the EPS 205 off
the pallet and then place the EPS 205 in the oil
collector. For this purpose, set the distance between
the forks of the fork-lift truck such that the forks fit
under the transportation brackets of the EPS 205 on
the left and right (Fig. 32).

The EPS 205 must be horizontally positioned to
enable the test oil in the settling tank to run off
through the flushing drain on flushing.

5. Remove the transportation brackets from the
EPS 205. To do so, remove the bolts (3x each) at the
side housing covers.

Keep the transportation brackets and the bolts for
use if the EPS 205 is to be transported to a different
workplace.
6. Secure the side housing covers with the bolts
2 910 641 152 (3x each) included in the scope of
delivery.

This completes installation of the EPS 205.
4.2 Mount the injector holder
1. Insert the injector holder (fig. 33, item 3) into the
retainer (fig. 33, item 1).
2. Fasten the injector holder using a hex socket head
cap screw M6 x 25 (fig. 33, item 2).
