Warnings:

Do not perform an MRI scan if the patient's body temperature is above 38 °C
(100 °F). Do not cover the patient with blankets or heated blankets. Elevated
body temperature in conjunction with tissue heating caused by an MRI scan
increases the risk of excessive tissue heating, which may cause tissue damage.

Do not position patients in positions other than prone or supine, such as on their
side within the MRI bore. Scanning patients in positions other than prone or
supine is untested and may cause excessive tissue heating during an MRI scan.
