Introduction

1.1) Target group
These operating instructions contain important information about operating and servicing the in -
terface blocks. It is intended for persons who install, commission, and maintain the interface
blocks.
The instructions do not describe which interface blocks should be used for each pending job. For
this, INGUN Interface Blocks catalogue is available.

Warranty and liability claims for personal and property damage are excluded if they are due to one
or more of the following causes:
 Incorrect installation or start-up operation of interface blocks
 Operation of interface blockswith defective safety devices, improperly installed or non-
functioning safety and protective devices
 Unauthorised structural changes to the interface blocks
 Non-compliance with maintenance intervals or improperly executed maintenance
 Improper repair
 Use of spare parts that do not meet the conditions stipulated by INGUN
 Natural disasters, third party activities or force majeure
 Improper use of interface blocks
