PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Figure 1 illustrates the 3M™ DBI-SALA® EZ-Line™ Horizontal Lifeline. The EZ-Line Horizontal Lifeline is a temporary horizontal
lifeline (HLL) that retracts into a housing for easy storage and portability. The EZ-Line HLL is a portable anchor line for one or
two Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) with Shock Absorbing Lanyards (EN 355) or Self Retracting Lifelines (EN 360), or for
Personal Fall Restraint Systems (PFRS) Positioning Lanyards (EN 354). Fall Arrest systems allow access to fall hazards but safely
arrest fall forces and minimize injury in the event of a fall. Fall Restraint Systems prevent the user from reaching fall hazards.
Components of the EZ-Line Horizontal Lifeline are identified in Figure 2 and specified in Table 1. The Cable Lifeline (A) winds
on or off a drum mounted in the Housing (B) when the Crank Handle (C) is turned. Carabiners on the Housing (D) and end of
the Cable Lifeline (E) attach between Anchorage Connectors on opposing walls, posts, stanchions, etc. The Crank Handle can
be switched between Hubs (F) protruding from the Housing to tighten or loosen the Cable Lifeline. The hook end of the Cable
Lifeline is terminated with a pinned Impact Indicator (G) to identify when the EZ-Line HLL has been exposed to fall forces. The
other end of the Cable Lifeline has a red Reserve Lifeline Band (H) to indicate when the lifeline reserve has been compromised.
System Specifications:
