10. Coffee Circuit Anomalies
ANOMALY DESCRIPTION
The machine does not dispense the bever-
ages requested
Difficulty in assembling top cover
Difficulty correctly positioning the hopper
in the machine
The dispenser group does not move or
moves incorrectly
The grinder motor doesn't start
The dispenser group makes noise during
movement
The final temperature of the beverage is
incorrect
POSSIBLE CAUSES
a) boiler temperature setting not reached (1st heating)
b) minimum coffee unit chamber heating temperature of 70 °C (TGR) not reached
(1st heating)
c) no coffee
d) used coffee grounds drawer full
e) coffee hopper shutters open
f) coffee group failed
g) coffee filter clogged
h) coffee delivery spout openings clogged
i) volumetric pump failed or disconnected
j) no water supply
k) incorrect grind
l) FEP tube from the dispenser group clogged
m) volumetric pump bypass requires adjustment
n) EvG failed or disconnected
a) presence of coffee beans in the supply tube of the grinding chamber
b) electrical wires pinched between the cover and the frame of the machine
c) make sure the shutter is open
d) check the orientation of the hopper
a) Defective gearmotor
b) slave CPU board faulty
c) female screw nuts not properly adjusted
d) optical sensors failed, disconnected or clogged by coffee deposits
