3.4 Relative responses of gas types
The graph below shows the relative responses to other gas types for an IRmax calibrated
on methane.
Note: Pentane, butane, propane and ethane all have greater responses from IRmax
than methane. The output signal will be linear to represent 0-100% LEL for the
target gas (i.e. methane in this example). Response to other gases will be non-linear.
