2.2 Monitoring heart rate

The
condition
of
cardiovascular system are fundamental to
physical fitness. The more often you can
check your heart rate the more effective your
workout will be.
Monitoring heartbeat is important for both
athletes and amateurs because it enables
them to program workouts better. Rotex 600
XT PRO let every user monitor heart rate
precisely in two different but equally simple
ways:
-
with a device installed in the handgrips
of every equipment; it is activated as soon
as you grasp the handgrips in the area
of the heart sensors;
-
with the chest band containing the heart
rate transmitter, which you wear wrapped
around your thorax.
The heart rate transmitter incorporated in the
chest band sends the equipment heart rate
signals; these signals, like those received
directly through the handgrips, are
processed and shown on the display so the
user can continuously monitor his or her
heart rate.
This constant monitoring of the heart rate
makes the chest band and the heart sensor
useful tools for improving workout
effectiveness and safety, and we thus highly
recommend their use.
