inférieurs en un angle d´incidence plus raide diminue la
progressivité.
Le mouvement relatif vertical du châssis est guidé
directement dans la suspension ;
l´effet de l´amortissement est immédiat et la suspension
est de par là plus rigide.
En même temps le véhicule est plus haut.
- Un déplacement des amortisseurs en un angle
d´incidence plus plat augmente la progressivité.
Par un angle d´incidence plat, le châssis doit être
compressé plus bas afin que l´amortissement réponde.
Ceci signifie que la suspension répond d´abord
mollement puis devient de plus en plus dure.
Le véhicule est plus bas.
Modification des armortisseurs arrière
- Les effets sur l´amortissement correspondent à ceux décrits ci dessus.
La précontrainte à ressort et les points de fixation des amortisseurs d´un essieu doivent être réglés de
manière identiques à droite et à gauche !

CCORD PRÉCIS DU MOTEUR
Après que le moteur est rodé, vous pouvez procéder à l'accord précis dans le but d'augmenter la puissance du moteur.
Cela signifie d'optimiser le mélange au ralenti et lors du changement des vitesses au moyen de la vis de réglage de ralenti
et en plein régime au moyen du pointeau principal.
Ajustage du pointeau principal (mélange pleins gaz)
- Démarrez le moteur du véhicule et retirer le capuchon de bougie.
- Laissez le moteur chauffer pendant env. 1 minute.
- Faites rouler le modèle comme d'habitude. Si vous avez l'impression que le moteur est alimenté en mélange
trop riche, réglez un mélange plus maigre en vissant le pointeau principal d'un 1/16 de tour vers l'intérieur
jusqu'à ce que le réglage souhaité soit effectué.
- Assurez-vous que le mélange n'est pas trop maigre.
Pendant la mise en service, il doit toujours y avoir un faible dégagement de fumée blanche du pot
d'échappement.
Pour augmenter encore la puissance du moteur, vous pouvez utiliser un carburant d'une teneur en nitromé-
thane de jusqu'à 30%.
Vous risquez par contre alors que le moteur ne soit plus assez performant si vous passez à nouveau à un carburant
d'une teneur en nitrométhane réduite.
Si vous envisagez utiliser à long terme un carburant d'une teneur élevée en nitrométhane, nous vous con-
seillons en outre de remplacer le joint de culasse existant par un joint plus épais de 0,1 mm afin de diminuer
la compression.
Si vous ne diminuez pas la compression, la surchauffe du moteur et son mauvais fonctionnement peuvent en être la
conséquence !

REPARATION
The Buggy Chassis Rex-X Promo is pre-assembled ready to drive (Ready To Run).
Before the first start, some basic adjustments must be carried out or checked and the necessary
accessories and auxiliaries must be prepared.
Go through the various points of the check list one after the other, and your model is then ready to run.
Tuning measures on the chassis and/or the installation of another RC system necessitate various tools.
The latter are listed below.

OOLS AND AUXILIARIES CHECK LIST FOR PUTTING INTO OPERATION
Tools
- Socket wrench 17 mm for the wheel nuts
- Flat spanner 5 mm
to set alignment and inclination
- Flat spanner 5.5 mm
to change the shock absorbers (to counter-hold)
- Allen key 3mm for the steering knuckle pins
(Fastening of steering knuckles in the steering
knuckle supports)
Allen key 2.5 mm to change the shock absorbers

- Allen key 2 mm for grub screws on the attachments
of cardan and drive shafts
- Allen key 1.5 mm for the grub screws on the
adjusting rings of the throttle/brake and steering
linkages and the transverse stabilizers (optional)
- Crosstip screwdriver (Ph No 1)
to fasten the servos,
to change the shock absorbers (lower)
to change the upper transverse control arm
(inclination) and for all other screws on the chassis,
the casings of the differentials and the RC mounting
plate
- Screwdriver for the throttle stop screw and the main
nozzle needle
NOTE!
The instructions specific to position front / back / right / left
always refer to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle
in drive direction "forward"!

LACING THE DECORATIVE PATTERNS
The car body of Rex-X Promo is already cut and painted!
- The decorative patterns are glued on the outside of the car body.
- Moisten the car body and the decorative patterns with a light washing-up liquid before placing them.
This gives you some time to reposition the decorative patterns and to flatten air bubbles.
- Fine details such as window frames, door sections or borders can be drawn with conventional decorative strips or
waterproof markers.

HECK LIST FOR PUTTING INTO OPERATION
What must be done:
- Apply the decals
- Check alignment and tooth backlash of drive
- Fix the antenna to the cover of the battery
compartment
- Place the batteries in the battery compartment
- Function control of servos
- Check the range of the remote control transmitter
- Check basic carburettor setting
- Screw in glow plug
- Fill in model fuel
- Let engine run
- Mounting the air filter
- Mounting thr car body
