7.5.2.2 Front Circuit Board, Display Module and Keypad Reassembly

1. Place and align the LCD (33) onto the front housing.

2. Place and align the Keypad (38) onto the keypad slot. Apply force around the keypad and ensure

the keypad sealing rib is perfectly seated onto the keypad slot. (Refer Figure 7-15).

3. Place and align the Poron Pad (39) onto the poron pad slot. Apply force around the Poron Pad

and ensure it is perfectly seated onto the slot.

4. Place the Front Circuit Board (36) straight down on top of the LCD and keypad. Align the front

circuit board to the four housing ribs. Press the top right edge of the front circuit board to ensure

the microphone sealing rubber is fully seated in place.

5. Tighten the five screws holding the front circuit board with a Phillips screwdriver torque to

1.2 kgf – 1.5 kgf. (Refer Table 7-3 on page 7-18 for torque in other units)
