Clean the inside of the machine window and check
thefitoftheflangeinthecaseofbondedmount-
ing. Refit the housing, ensuring that the seal-
ing ring is correctly seated and evenly pressed
against the pulley and that the housing screws are
tightenedtothespecifiedtorque.
Check the air supply: for operation with sealing
air, use the pressure gauge to check whether it is
set correctly. When operating without sealing air,
check whether the appliance can draw in air from
outside. If this is not sufficient, you must convert
the device to operation with sealing air.
The spinning window is dirty or has water
deposits such that it is no longer possible to
see through it.
As a wear part, the rotating disc can quickly be
replaced. Disconnect the system from the power
supply and remove the rotor after it has coasted
down. Depending on how dirty it is, clean the sur-
face with a glass scraper and then use e.g. cleaner
for ceramic hobs or glass cleaner for polishing.
Replace the rotor and switch on the power.
If you notice that the pane is very dirty due to alu-
minum chips or the machining of gray cast iron,
you can keep a cleaned disc on hand for swapping
it out.
It is essential to follow the instructions given in the
chapter"SealingAirSupply".

Obtain a new rotor and install it. We recommend
keeping a spare disc on hand for quick replace-
ment. If the machine is to be operated in the
meantime,protectRotoclearS3suchthatitissafe
from damage by chips and cooling lubricant.
