Installation is possible without any problems if the
following types are to be replaced:
 Rotoclear S:

The replacement kit for S and S2 must not be used
to replace the following types:

• EP1085060060
In this case, install the adhesive- or screw-
mounted version of Rotoclear S3. This usually
requires the replacement of the machinery glass.
Mounting
Remove the Rotoclear S or S2 and clean the
area around the cut-out with isopropyl alcohol.
The adapter, the safety window and Roto-
clear S3 are pre-assembled. Insert the unit
together with the adapter into the cut-out from
the inside.
 Position the flange from the outside and
align the unit. Be careful that the unit does not fall
out.
 Fix the unit in place using the correspond-
ing marked screws for the respective pane thick-
nessesof6-10mm(M5×16),11–15mm(M5×20)
or16mm(M5×25).
Safety information
Installation is exclusively approved for machines
that comply with the standard DIN EN ISO 16090-1
(Machine tools safety - Machining centers, mill-
ing machines, transfer machines). Use the unit in
other machines at your own risk.
The safety window of the Rotoclear S / S2 is
installedintheadapterflange.Replacethesafety
window after the date indicated on the pane has
expired.
Only use polycarbonate safety windows with
replacement intervals of 2 years with the replace-
ment kit for S and S2. The machine must not be
operated with the adapter flange without a Roto-
clearS3mounted.
