Mounting replacement kit
for S and S2
The Rotoclear S or S2 can be replaced by the
Rotoclear S3usingthereplacementkitforSand
S2 under the conditions mentioned below.
This mounting variant is a special case and
onlyintendedforretrofitting.Ordinarily,theadhe-
sive or screw version should be used.
Checking compatibility
ThereplacementkitforSandS2fitswindows6–
16 mm thick. A spacer ring is available for thinner
panes or sheet metal walls.
For installation, you will require at least 40 mm of
space behind the pane. Please verify this, espe-
cially if the following types are to be replaced:
 Rotoclear S:
• AP1620500
• AP162050030
 Rotoclear S2:
• AP10850500
• AP1085050030
In the above-mentioned types, the power supply
is located on the outside of the machine window.
When using the replacement kit for S and S2, how-
ever, the cabling must be routed to the inside of
the machine disk, as the appliance connection is
located inside the machining area.
