hose in the appropriate orientation and screw the
brass sleeve (Fig. 6-D) back into the ends to fas-
ten it.
Screw the part of the hose fitting with the exter-
nal threads (Fig. 6-E) into the connection box
(Fig.6-F)oftheRotoclear S3untilhandtightand
then tighten it by no more than a quarter turn. The
adapter is sealed by a sealing ring.

If the unit is installed on the window of a slid-
ing door, the movement is usually accommodated
by the protective hose (Fig. 7-A). For this reason,
the electric-pneumatic adapter (Fig. 7-B) is
installed on the stationary part of the machine
housing (Fig. 7-C). It can then be used to feed the
power and sealing air supply lines through into the
working area of the machine.

Pull the power cable (Fig. 8-A) through the pro-
tective hose (Fig. 8-D) with the stripped end in
the cable gland (Fig. 8-B) of the electric-pneu-
matic adapter (Fig. 8-C) and through the screw
connection of the Rotoclear S3 connection box.
Note that the cable must also be fed through the
sheet metal wall at the intended location (Fig. 8-E).
Connect the hose fitting (Fig. 8-F) to the elec-
tric-pneumatic adapter.
To connect the power cable, pull the terminal (Fig.
6-G) and the end of the power cable (Fig. 6-H) out
of the connection box. Connect the cable ends
to the terminal and ensure that L1 and L2 have

the correct polarity. (Brown +, Blue -). Secure the
powercableinpositionwiththestrainrelieffitting
(Fig. 6-I).
