Maintenance

DANGER!
Metering pumps may only be maintained by trained and authorised persons.
Regularly scheduled maintenance is required for the equipment to function properly long
term.
Maintenance includes safety and functional testing. Mainly check the tightness of all
components, if necessary replace hoses and pipelines.
Maintenance instructions can be found in the pump documentation.
CAUTION!
In case of media escaping, there is a risk of persons slipping on the floor.
If product leakage is detected, immediately check the metering lines for
sedimentation. For safety reasons, the appropriate product line must not be
operated until you have remedied the defect.
NOTICE!
The diaphragm itself cannot be checked without any further action, but the
drain opening at the bottom of the pump head can.
Interval
Maintenance work
Visual check that the splashguard cover is correctly seated.
Daily
Visual check of the drip pan for product residue.
Locate and eliminate leaks in product residues.
Check the accessibility of the emergency stop function (MyControl or unit attached
separately to the Pump Rack).
Checking the functionality of the emergency stop device.
Check the correct assignments of the deployed products to the alkaline or acidic groups;
where appropriate, check the pressure lines on the multifunctional valves in the appropriate
sumps (left side – alkaline / right side – acidic).
Check correct metering.
