Shut-down procedures
The shutdown procedure described here-below must be strictly observed prior to
cleaning, maintenance or repair work by authorised technical personnel.
1.
Empty the system.

Switch-off power supply to the equipment:
Switch the power disconnect device (master switch) on the switching cabinet to "0".
For maintenance and repair works:

Disconnect the supply with metering medium:
Close the shut-off valves.
Check that the water supply lines are closed
and secure the stopcocks against reopening.

Safety measures during installation of the system
DANGER!
To avoid the risk of the system tipping over, the system must be firmly
connected to a suitable wall or floor.

Installation, maintenance and repair work
NOTICE!
Material damage by using incorrect tools!
Material damage may arise by using incorrect tools. Use the correct tools.
DANGER!
Secure the master switch to prevent unauthorised re-activation.
DANGER!
Make sure there is no voltage present.
If necessary, the machine/system must be short-circuited
, and neighbouring live parts must be covered and bypassed.
DANGER!
Make sure to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly
according to the safety data sheet for the chemicals being metered.
DANGER!
Make sure that the chemicals used cannot leak and remove any metering
medium spills correctly according to the instructions in the safety data
sheet and dispose of them as specified there.
