The ELADOS Pump Rack metering system manufactured and delivered by Ecolab
Engineering complies with the EC Directive applicable in Europe. The product therefore
meets the European standard for health and safety.
The metering system is state-of-the-art on delivery. In order to be eligible for complete CE
marking, some requirements apply to installing and using this system.
To help you meet these requirements, they are summarised in an installation checklist in
the annex to this User Manual.
Please work through the installation check list provided in the following chapter with your
Ecolab technician and your Ecolab field service contact.

Please document the fact that you have accepted the delivery by signing both of
the attached checklists. The second copy/version shall be kept on file for you in the
documents file at Ecolab. This guarantees that your installation data are easily accessible
at any time, and, in the event of a complaint, ensures that the process cycle for handling
your complaint flows smoothly.

Safety Instructions for Installation

CAUTION!
The following safety instructions must absolutely be followed.
Failure to follow them properly can lead to accidents, injury or damage to the
unit.
The owner is responsible for properly instructing and training employees who
will be servicing the equipment and/or who will be changing the chemicals.
Protective equipment is not part of the scope of the equipment; the owner must
provide safety glasses and safety gloves. These items must be stored in a
suitable location.
DANGER!
Any connection and repair work on the unit must be undertaken by authorised
experts.
Before starting any work on electrical parts, switch off the power supply to the
control unit and the signal conducting machines.
Suitable protective clothing must be worn during maintenance and repair work.
These safety requirements and hazardous materials regulations for working
with chemicals and, in particular, the instructions pertaining to the respective
safety data sheets must always be followed.
