5.7.8.1 Assembling the pulsation damper

1.
Unscrew the output side pump connection kit (item 1) from the pump; while doing so,
leave the O-ring (item 2) on the pump metering valve (item 3).

Locate the pulsation damper (no. 4) on the pressure valve (no. 3) of the pump.

Align the pulsation damper (item 4) and union nut (item 5) and hand tighten it.
4.
Place the previously disassembled pump connection kit (no. 1) back on the pulsation
damper, making sure that the O-ring (no. 6) on the pulsation damper (no. 4)is located
in the correct position, and then hand tighten the union nut (no. 7).
5.
Cut off the PEX or PTFE pipe (item 8) at right angles and slightly chamfer the inner
edge.
6.
Push the PEX or PTFE tube 8/12 onto the barb of the male stud coupling up to the
stop; push on the clamping ring and tighten the cap nut.

CAUTION!
Check that the O-rings are seated correctly.
CAUTION!
Counter the male stud coupling with a flat spanner at the same time to
avoid exceeding the permissible tightening torque!
