Damage and injuries may occur if installation, maintenance or repair
work is carried out incorrectly.
All installation, maintenance and repair work must only be performed by
authorised and trained specialist personnel in accordance with the applicable
local regulations. Safety regulations and prescribed protective clothing when
handling chemicals should be followed. Attention must be paid to the
information included on the product data sheet for the metering medium used.
Prior to all work the feeding of the metering medium should be disconnected
and the system cleaned.
NOTICE!
Only original equipment spare parts may be used for maintenance and
repairs.

1. Risk assessment as per 2006/42/EG (as per Appendix I) and DIN EN 14121-1
2. Airborne sound measurement
n in accordance with the Machinery Guideline, Appendix 1 (Item 1.6.4/f)
3. Testing and checking as per DIN EN 60204-1 (Edition 2007)
Checking that the electrical equipment is in conformity with the technical

Continuous connection of the protective conductor system ® (Section 18.2).

Insulation resistance testing ® (Section 18.3).

Voltage testing ® (Section 18.4).

Protection against residual voltages ® (Section 18.5).

Functional testing ® (Section 18.6).

The functions of the electrical equipment and in particular those that relate to safety and
protective measures have been tested.
2.15.2

Safety checks

The safety tests for the functioning of this equipment have been performed in the factory
by the manufacturer. Within the framework of the acceptance test upon the handover to
the owner an assessment is to be made jointly by the manufacturer of the machinery
and the owner as to whether all of the specified safety devices are available and capable
of functioning and correspond to all operational requirements or whether any additional
actions must be undertaken. This procedure is to be recorded.
