Assembly of the pump connection kit for the EMP III pump

5.7.1 EMP III pump – 54 l/h

1 Hose connector
2 O-ring
3 Union nut
4 Hose clamp
5 Thread socket
1.
Assemble the hose nozzle (item 1) with the O-ring (item 2) and union nut (item 3)
on the suction side pump connection. Assemble the pump connection.

Push on the Tygon hose (item 6) and fix in place with the hose clamp (item 4).
3.
Assemble the threaded sleeve (item 5) with the pre-assembled male stud coupling
and O-ring (item 2) on the pressure-side pump connection.
4.
Cut off the PEX or PTFE pipe (no. 7) at right angles and slightly chamfer the inner
edge.
5.
Push the PEX or PTFE pipe (item 7) over the threaded piece (item 8) as far as it will
go.
6.
Push on the clamping ring (item 9).
7.
Screw in the union net (item 10).
CAUTION!
Counter the male stud coupling with a flat spanner at the same time to
avoid exceeding the permissible tightening torque!
Check the connections for leaks when commissioning the pump!
