a) Electronic switching
Remove the battery compartment cover and take out the
battery compartment. Under the battery compartment you
will find a switch for mode I and mode II.
Use the screwdriver for the dual rate setting (see Fig-
ure 28, no. 5) to slide the switch from the lower position
("Mode 2") to the upper position ("Mode 1").
When re-inserting the battery compartment, make sure
that the connecting cables are not pinched and then re-
place the battery compartment cover.
b) Mechanical adjustment of joysticks
Unscrew the upper right screw (1) counter-clockwise on
the back of the transmitter until the left joystick (when
viewed from the front) no longer shows any palpable fric-
tional resistance during manipulation.
Then unscrew the lower right screw (2) until the middle
position of the joystick is activated by spring force.
Screwing in the lower left screw (3) clockwise gets the
middle position of the right joystick (when viewed from
the front) deactivated by spring force. Screw in the screw
so far that the joystick remains in the respective position
when pushed up or down.
The upper left screw (4) enables to adjust the frictional
force the joystick should be held with in different positions.
Important!
After switching from mode II to mode I, the reverse switches for the motor function (see Figure 23, no. 3)
and the elevator control (see Figure 23, no. 2) must be switched over. Finally, use the model to check
whether the changeover of the transmitter mode has been successful and the model responds correctly to
all control commands. In this context, make sure to check the elevator's neutral position.
The changeover from mode I to mode II takes place in the reverse order.
