c) Adjusting the rudder flaps
With the middle position of the servos checked or read-
justed, you can now adjust the rudder flaps.
To do this, loosen the fastening screw of the linkage wire
on each flap and set the rudder blade exactly in the middle
position (see the lower picture in Figs. 4 and 5).
The trailing edge of the aileron must be aligned with the
trailing edge of the wing (see dashed line in Figure 17).
The trailing edges of the elevator and the tailplane must
be aligned as well.
The correct position of the rudder can easily be recog-
nised by viewing the model from behind from a distance.

With the rudder adjusted, tighten the respective fastening
screw (1) of the linkage wire.
d) Checking rudder deflections
After adjusting the centre position for all rudders, you can check and adjust rudder deflections.
Neutral position
In the neutral position, all the rudders must be in the middle position if the respective joysticks are also in the middle
position. When checking rudder deflections, the motor speed joystick must be in the lowest position to prevent inad-
vertent start-up of the motor (see Figs. 18 - 21).
